Football coaching course for teachers in Santo

VFF Technical Director Charles Vatu and the new Just Play development officer Kaison Maki will travel to Santo this week to conduct the course for teachers in Luganville Santo and all teachers all round Sanma Province from 26 April to 2nd May 2011.
Teachers will learn how to organise a small football game with basic rules of Just Play leading to a full game situation. Lesson planning is covered in detail on the course and looks at progression in performance for coaching primary aged children.
Kaison Maki said: “We are delighted to be able to develop the basic skills of football coaching for teachers regardless of their playing experience in Luganville.”
“Just Play encourage all children to play football as the number sport in Vanuatu, have fun and enjoy it as a game of life.” said Kaison.
The course is administered by Vanuatu Football Federation Just Play Program. This course is excellent and abit different for PE specialist primary teachers working in education and is especially good for those looking to the future to start their on basic football coaching for grassroots.
Just Play Program is funded by Australian Goverment, UEFA and Oceania Football Confederation.
