Luke Eroi is Amicale New Coach

The agreement took place following a phone conversation meeting between Amicale team manager Andrew Leong and Mr. Eroi before Christmas break.
Mr. Leong said Mr. Luke Eroi will arrive in Vanuatu on Tuesday 4th January 2011 will be presented as Amicale new coach on Wednesday 5th January 2011.
He said Mr Eroi will come to Vanuatu with two objective. His first objective is to work with the two coaches William Malas and Philemon John to upgrade the standard of coaching and second is to help Amicale to win the O League Competition.
Mr. Leong said in the world of football there are many coaches in a club and Amicale is doing the same thing to recruit new coaches to help the club achieve success.
“Mr Eroi is not taking over from William Malas and Philimon John who has done a fantastic job but the trios will work together to help strengthen the coaching department of Amicale Football Club.” he said.
The Vanuatu Club Champion believes that the experience of Mr. Eroi in the international scene will be a good assest to the Team.
Mr. Luke Eroi has a great career with the Solomon islands Football in the past years until today.
– Coach Koloale FC from 1999 to 2009
– Head coach National U20Solomon Islands in 2001
-Head Coach National U23 Solomon Islands in 2008
-Head Coach National U17 Woman’s Team of Solomon Islands 2010
During his career as coach, he achieved the follwing performance:
– 2001 : won Famosa Cup in Taiwan
– 2001: Came second in OFC qualified in New Caledonia
-2008: Came second in OFC Olympic qualified in Fiji
– 2008/2009: Came second with Koloale FC in he O League final against Auckland City
– 2010: Came second in the OFC qualified in New Zealand
His hard work, outstanding career and performance have got him to win the following awards:
– 1997: Scholarship for Soccer Coaching, AIS Australia
– 1997 and 2001: Award coach of the year for the local league (HFA)
– 2010: FA Internaitonal License Course for coaching in London, England
– 2010: FA International coaching license level in England.
