Football Helps Disaster In Santo and Solomons

Mr. Jotham Napat, the director reported that after the announcement made for a generous give, he and his volunteers went around and collected more than 300 000 vatu.
The generous give was done prior the match whilst all the football fans were eagerly waiting for the first leg final to kick off.
The amount collected will be donated towards families who faced the disaster in Santo and Solomon islands.
Mr. Napat was very surprised after they counted the collected donations by the football fans. He expected less but the turnout was more. He was very pleased that football fans could just give so generously to help the needy families.
“I am over whelmed by this financial support . We raised 333,000 vatu and this came from football supporters.”
“Football is really the famous top sport in Vanuatu and they too help people who suffer.” Concluded Mr Napat.
“200,000 vatu will be donated to Santo families and the rest to the families in the Solomons.”
“I would like to convey my greatest gratitude to the Local Organising committee that could allow us to go in do the fundraising inside.”
“Football looks promising as a fundraiser towards disaster in the future and I hope we will continue to work together this way,” said Mr Napat.
