Warriors is Erakor’s New Sister Club

A very special ceremony was held yesterday afternoon at around 4:30pm inside Erakor Village Hall (La Marie) to seal the relationship between the two clubs. Chairman of Warriors who is also a member of Parliament in The Solomon Islands Mr Bodo Detike was there to represent the club and to witness this very important ceremony.
Erakor Village Chief and a former Erakor Golden Star player Mr Kaloruk Lalie agreed that Erakor will help support Warriors in the Oceania Football Confederation Champions League if things work out well.
“On Behalf of the Community in Erakor village, I want to assure you Mr.Bodo Detike that our boys will help your team in the upcoming big competition and we also need your help in our competitions within Port Vila.” Said Mr Kaloruk.
“We are very happy that you can visit us today in our village to see our boys.” Commented happy Chief Kaloruk Lalie.
The owner of Solomon Warriors invited Erakor Golden Star to go down to Solomon Islands this Sunday the 20th of January 2013 for a friendly game of three matches with Warriors to help prepare themselves for their upcoming Champions League Tournament.
Airfares for the entire Erakor FC have been paid in full to Honiara and back and accommodations, food and transport in Honiara have all been arranged and fixed by the new sister club.
Mr Kaloruk gave a traditional tamtam to welcome and at the same time to seal the relationship between the two clubs to Mr Bodo Detike during the ceremony yesterday afternoon.
This is the second club that Erakor Golden Star has as their sister club. The first sister club is the Papua New Guinea’s Champion Club , Hekari United for the last two years.
Recently during a friendly match between Golden Star and Tupiji Imere on Saturday the 12th, the Stars won Tupiji by 3 goals to 2 at the Port Vila Stadium.
