Venue ground work begins at Chapuis Stadium

A local organizing committee was formed in Luganville recently to make preparations ahead of this huge tournament.
Despite, two months was in front ahead of the game date the Local Organizing committee (LOC) has already strengthens ties with communities nearby for deep ground work inside the soccer field.
Yesterday Monday 28 January saw the Mangoe Community in Luganville and Chapui Seventh Day Adventist youth joined together to dig out unwanted grasses inside the soccer field before the mud and sand pour on top. After that seedlings of the accurate grass to be planted will be spread on top and monitored throughout the month before the tournament date.
The LOC has chose representatives to supervise the overall work going on. The removal of unwanted grasses inside the soccer arena was allocated for one week. Before the next step of the ground work commenced.
Meanwhile, the normal Luganville football Association (LFA) championship tournaments that was normally held at chapui staduim soccer field one was relocate to continue at the soccer field number two. That is to allow for the games to continue while ground work commenced at the filed number one. The soccer field number two was just beside the field number one.
More other preparations were currently on the way for this huge tournament to be held in Luganville Santo.
