Grassroots program hits Port Vila

Grassroots coordinator, Joel Rarua said the program went well and the kids really enjoyed the program.
“We have 70 children turns up for the festival and thank you to Frehwota school for their continuous support.” Said Joel Rarua.
“We have the same festival in other schools in Port Vila few weeks ago and the attendance of the kids, teachers and volunteers is outstanding.”
“Today we have 50 boys and 20 girls too part in the festival which is really good to see.”
“The festival was being in a different atmosphere as Vanuatu National football players took part as role model to the game and transfers basic knowledge of football to the kids.”
“Bong Kalo, Francois Sakama and Tom Manses(former National Rep) participate in different coaching sessions doing demonstration to the players.”
“They demonstrate how to do control passing, defending and attacking and possession games playing as a team.” Said Joel Rarua.
The next festival will be held again on Friday with another local school.
Acknowledge the national players for their effort to be role model to the kids to motivate and provide a real pathway for kids to follow.
