FIFA Approves 7 Vanuatu Referees

Those referees who can now officiate international matches outside Vanuatu are two referees, four Assistant Referees and one Futsal Referee.
The two referees are Robinson Banga and Bruce George. Assistant Referees are Mahit Chilia, Michael Joseph, Alick Lukai and Hilmon Sese and Peter Pakoatang as Futsal Referee.
Vanuatu had lost three former international referees two years ago due to frustrations and misuse of authority and denial opportunities to officiate the top league.
Those who lost their status of international recognition are Referee Soter Bernard of Luganville, Santo, Nawen Hopkins of Luganville Santo and Futsal Referee Alain Alick.
Referee Development Officer (RDO) Nasse Kalo asked all the referees to start their training today Wednesday 18 January 2012 at Port Vila Stadium.
“I want to request all FIFA and amateur referees to come to training today (Thursday 18 January 2012) at Port Vila Stadium.”
“It’s important that we must prepare ourselves ready now before the season kicks off on the 26 January 2012.” he said.
