Tupuji beat Spirit in TVL upset

Young Rodney Serveux scored the winner in the 61 minute with a powerful shot following a counter attack from the yellows.
Rodney said after the match that it was a great feeling to beat Spirit 08 today.
It was the Tupuji’ first win over Spirit in the TVL Premier this year and coach Toroi Sokomanu was a very happy man after the match.
” Iam satisfied with the result and my boys really worked hard today against one of the best team in Port Vila.”
“It was an amazing game. I think we showed the whole Port Vila how we can play,” Toroi said.
Silas Frank had given River side boys the lead in the 15th minute in the first half. After the spell Rodney Serveux scores Tupuji second and his goal gives them the three points in 61 minute but the Spirit Didier Karlip pulls one back for Carlos Buzzetti’s boys in 75 minute but it was to late to catch up.
The win puts Tupuji Imere still in fourth place but now just one point behind Spirit 08.
