Chabod confident Amicale ready for Hekari

The two teams will meet in the first leg of their 2011-2012 O- League championships at the Port Vila Stadium on Saturday 29 October 2011.
Concerns have been raised by Amicale fans and supporters following obvious lack of tough competition in the Port Vila Football Association Premier Division, saying they fear the team may not be properly prepared for the O-League.
However Mr. Chabod told media that his management was well aware of the situation and the players are being coached and trained toward the O-League rather than the local championship.
“The heavy win (8-0) over Shepherds United the other weekend was the result of our strategy to not take any team lightly, regardless of their strenght or capacity to compete with us.” Mr Chabod said.
Amicale suffer another blow when they drawn with Spirit 08 last Saturday 0-0. Fenedy Masauvakalo was injured and couldn’t make play for his club last weekend.
“But with that result I wish to assure our supporters and fans that the team is prepared and be ready when Hekari come over this weekend.”
“The boys are determined and stand firm on their position that they won’t allow any team to beat them on their home ground.” the Amicale head says.
In the last O-League championships, Amicale have beaten and drawn with Hekari United. Their game at Port Vila Stadium ended in a 3-all draw,.
