VFF President Lambert Maltock made this announcement last week that MFA has the wheels to speed up the work of football activities in Malampa especially on the island of Malekula.
“This year 2013 will be a very good year for football in Vanuatu.”
“Decentralisation programme of VFF Technical Centres in Vanuatu and support to all the 8 Associations is another top priority for 2013.”
“I am very pleased to let you all know that VFF has already bought 1 of the 3 vehicles which the last congress had approved for Malampa, Penama and Tafea Football Association.”
“The vehicles are intended to help facilitate the implementation of training programme of Just Play, Development Centres and Excellence centres as well as assist the administration of the MAs’ Leagues and competitions.”
“VFF is truly grateful to OFC and OFC President Mr. Chung who generously supported the launching of these Technical Centres by providing financial assistance from his OFC presidential funds 2,500,000vt as part of his contribution towards such programme.
“The total price of the 3 vehicles is 5,000,000vt and so OFC contributed half of the cost and VFF contributes the balance.” Said happy VFF President, Lambert Maltock.
Penama and Tafea expected to have their wheels by end of February next month.
