Good win for the Champion

This match is one of the most entertaining friendly matches we have had this year with chances coming so often you couldn’t afford to look away for a second.
The first half was exciting with the two goals from Fenedy Masauvakalo in 12 minutes and Alick Maemae scored his first goal for his new club in 39 minutes, but not as much as the second half, which must say something since the first half saw 2 goals being scored, with real wasting plenty of chances.
The game started off quickly with Amical holding most of the possession and Port Vila Squad trying to play catch up to their midfield.
The game, despite showing a comfortable score line, some weaknesses were evident. When the ball was at the Reds feet, they looked comfortable and playing well, but it was when the ball was with Port Vila where they chocked.
The Reds midfilder Stanley Waita is delighted to see his side beat a strong Port Vila squad which made up of three Mont Dort FC players from New Caledonia. “
“We deserved to win against Port Vila. We played an especially fast game in the first half. I am very happy with the role I play as midfielder for the club and wish we can improve more before we play Hekari on the 23rd October 2010.
Jean Yves Chapo President of Amical FC praised his boys for an outstanding performance especially Alick Maemae who fit perfectly in to the system of the Reds and said, “Maemae is a player who knows what he wants in the field and he knows how to get it. He also knows that he is not supposed to break, that he is the one to take a step further when needed, taking his squad a step further as well.Maemae is also the type of guy who doesn’t want to be the star or the sparkle of the team, but he wants to be the player, without whom the team cannot play, keeping a low profile and a calm attitude.”
“This is why he is for everyone who watches the friendly match yesterday.” He concluded.
