Rutherford signs with Amicale FC

Vice- President and the man behind the Red Roster’s success, Andrew Leong has confirmed that Michael Rutherford, 23 years has signed with Amicale to play in the OFC Champions League.
Rutherford is 6 foot and 2 inches tall had the experience of goalkeeper for 15 years and represented his local club, APIA Leichhardt Tigers in Sydney Premier League in Italy for three years in a row as team captain playing against Inter Milan, Totthham, Juventus youth team, twice getting man of the match.
He signed his first football contract at age of 17 and playing in highest level under A-League for the last four years.
Last season at Camden he played 22 games and conceded 23 goals as well as scoring a late equalizer last game before finals series.
“I am excited at the chance to play and represent Amicale in the Oceania Football Champions league & hopefully we can go all the way to the finals”
“I thank the club & staff for giving me the opportunity, I can’t wait to get back with the team and start training again for the first tournament game in Solomon Islands” said Rutherford.
In a latest news, Amicale FC will no longer sign Australian Brisbane Club, Ipswich Knights FC striker Peter Drager.
