“My players have the fighting spirit”. Poida

Moise Poida’s boys recovered from conceding a 75th minute equalizer to force home a winner in the 85minute.
“The way my players responded to that late equalizer shows the spirit they have and I want to thank them for their team work.” Said Moise Poida,Vanuatu senior team head coach.
“To be honest, New Caledonia is a very strong team and to come back from behind and beat them is not easy.”
Vanuatu team will continue to train and their main focus now is the OFC Nation’s Cup in Papua New Guinea in May 2016.
Vanuatu is in Group B with New Zealand, Fiji and Solomon Islands and Moise Poida’s first match of the competition is against neighbor Solomon Islands on the 29 May 2016.
