Amicale ready for Battle

The two clubs are fighting for a first place in Group B. City is leading the table with 6 points and Amicale is second with 4 points.
The Red Rosters are very excited and looking forward to fly out this Sunday to Auckland. They expect a very tight game with Auckland city right to the end.
The last year’s O-League top scorer said: “We knew it would be close; there was no doubt that our game between the defending champions will be strong.”
“City are strong and they play good football but we just need to play our game and try to pick up the 3 points we are aiming for.”
Roster’s head coach William Malas also believes their fight with OFC club champion will be tight. Malas was impressed with the discipline and workrate of his players.
Malas said: “Our boys have worked hard in training just after Christmas and I think it will be tough right through to the end.
“Auckland players are experienced, they play quality football but I think we will give them a good run in Auckland.” “If our boys can do well in this game they should do well in our three remaining games.”
Amicale played against Tupuji Imere on Wednesday in a friendly match and won by 3-0 after Solomon International netted two goals and Derek Malas added the third in style.
Amicale’s full team flys to New Zealand this on Sunday the 15th and will face group B leader Auckland City on Wednesday 18th of January 2012 at Kiwitea Street at 15:45hrs (Vanuatu Time).
