Futsal president calls for uniting next season

Over 20 clubs members turn up in the meeting with the presence of Vanuatu Football Technical Director Peter Takaro and Port Vila Football Administrator Bong Shem.
“We faced a lot of challenges this season.” Only one futsal court in town and we have over 150 matches and it’s very hard to organised matches when we have volleyball, boxing, judo and other sports using the same court.” Said Tom Philip.
“My executive members found it very hard to program matches.”
“I thank you for your patience and support throughout this season and next season I am sure we will have good matches because we will now use Wan Smol Futsal court at Tagabe, Port Vila for our 2014/2015 season.”
“I thank Port Vila Football and VFF for their continuous support and hope we can work together for futsal success next season.”
“Lastly, on behalf of my executive, I would like to ask all clubs, referees and players to work together in unity next season for build up futsal in Port Vila.” Concluded Tom Philip, PV Futsal President.
Port Vila Football Futsal league is under Port Vila Football Association with 36 clubs and will get some financially assistance from PVFA next season according to reports from Bong Shem, PVFA administrator.
VFF technical director Peter Takaro congratulates Tom Philip and his executive members, club presidents, referees and players for a outstanding season and wish them all the best in the new season coming up in one month time.
First meeting for all the club presidents of Futsal will take place on the 1st September 2014 at Port Vila Football conference room.
