Thank you Tugun FC; Richard Iwai

After the game between Vanuatu U 23 and Tugun FC last Saturday, the management of the Dream Team handover to Tugun President Mr. Cliff Popple a Vanuatu Tamtam to thank the club for giving his team their soccer field for two weeks for training.
“On behalf of Vanuatu Football Federation, I would like to take this opportunity to thank Tugun Football Club for allowing us to use your facilities here in Gold Coast.”
“You gave us the room key, corns, water, bibs, field to train and also the food.” Thanks a lot and on behalf of Vanuatu Football Federation, I do welcome you in Vanuatu if you want your team to visit our country one day.” said Iwai.
In respond Tugun FC President Cliff said he is happy to have the Vanuatu team for the first time.
“Tugun would like to thank the Vanuatu U 23 Dream Team for allowing us to play them in a friendly game on Sunday 10th March. Was a great experience for our Division 1 and Reserve players.”
“We wish you a safe trip to New Zealand and the whole of Tugun Soccer Club will be rooting for you to win and qualify for the Olympic Games if you work hard.”
“In closing i would just like to say we have loved having you training here and that you are welcome back at Tugun any time. GO VANUATU.”
The President of Burleigh FC Tony Wright also wishes the boys best of luck in New Zealand.
“it was a pleasure to be involved in the game with you and your team, we enjoyed the game and took a lot out of the game, pass on my best wishes to your team and to always keep their chin up no matter what happens , and carry on playing with the same belief they showed on Tuesday 6 March 2012 , just remind them now and again they should always play the game like it is the last game they will ever play , and the riches will come their way.”said Mr. Wright.
Vanuatu U 23 flys out tomorrow (Tuesday 13 March 2012) at 11pm to New Zealand and play American Samoa on Friday 16 March 2012 at 12:30pm Vanuatu time.
