Dream Team duo Lucien and Eddison injured

Eddison Stephen forced off during Saturday afternoon’s friendly match win over Palm Beach.
However, defender to Lucien said today Sunday that he is feeling better: “I’m feeling better now. But we’ll see how bad it is tomorrow (Monday and Tuesday). “But I’m happy because we won our first friendly match and I think we played a great game.”
“I do know that it’s just a small knock on my right foot ; nothing to be worried about,” the defender insisted. “We were already 3-1 up and it was better to save myself for the OFC Olympic qualifier in New Zealand.”
Team Management has given the two players rest tomorrow until they are fully recover.
Meanwhile, Coach Richard Iwai was almost lost for words when it came to describing his three Spirit 08 FC players Didier Kalip, Robert Tasso and Bernard Daniel who scored a goal each against Palm Beach FC on Saturday.
Dream Team will play their second friendly against Burleigh on Tuesday 6 March 2012 at Pizzey Park at 7pm. Vanuatu time is 8pm.
Gold Soccer administrator Pat Hedges congratulated Dream Team for their first win but remind the team that Burleigh FC play a better football style than Palm Beach and they have some skillful players.
