Spirit 0-0 Seveners United

Having struggled to adapt to life back in the second tier over the last seasons, Spirit have enjoyed an excellent start to this campaign and knew victory over the new comer would see them move to the first place in day one of the competition but failed to score against the greens.
Chances were few and far between for both sides thereafter, although Spirit FC striker Didier Kalip threatened to liven up a drab atmosphere when forcing an excellent save from Seveners goalkeeper.
Spirit 08 executive member Noel Vari said they are happy with their first match that ends with a draw with Seveners United.
” I think its a good start for us and we will continue to work hard with our boys for play Tafea next Saturday. Said former Vanuatu striker Noel Vari.
Seveners United President Soani Joseph also congratulated his boys for a very performance against Spirit yesterday.
“We have few great chances to score in the final minutes of the game but all our hard works came to nothing but the boys have done well today.” said Soani Joseph.
Seveners next game is against Tupuji Imere FC next Thursday at Port Vila Stadium.
