Timakata emotional after win

The defending Sister City Cup champions beat Port Vila Two (Tafea FC) 2-1 after attacking midfielder Dominique Fred scores to goals in each half.
Peter Takaro’s boys had not lost any of their previous six matches since they came together four weeks ago, leaving captain Ernie Timakata feeling emotional.
“I felt a very strong emotion this evening. There was a mutual appreciation between the crowd and myself.”
“It was a beautiful day to celebrate Port Vila Day and a good final match against Tafea.”
“I never win a final or cup in a competition with my team Shepherds United FC but today I am so happy and thank my players for a very good performance.”
“Our first objective is to play good football and win the competition.” Concluded Ernie Timakata, Port Vila Squad captain.
Port Vila Football Association organise a special dinner tonight to thank the all the boys.
