Malampa down Nalkutan, top ladder

Luganville Football Association club champion, Malampa Revivors beat Nalkutan FC of Tafea Football Association 4-2 on Tuesday and takes over the lead in the standing of the TVL NSL 2016 standing on day two.

Both teams ended the first half with 1-1 but after the break, the host came back strongly and three quick goals that help them beat Nalkutan 4-2 and top the ladder after day two with six points.

The other matches on Tuesday, Vaum United of Luganville beat Rainbow FC 5-2 and Medics FC of Tafea Football Association record their first win in the top six competition with a 2-0 win over Spirit 011 FC of Torba Province.

Luganvillle clubs, Malampa Revivors and Vaum United are now top the VFF TVL National Super League table ladder after day two results.

The winner of the TVL National Super League 2016 will represent Vanuatu Football in the OFC Champions League in 2018.
