After nearly three weeks of training in Wellington, Vanuatu U 20 team manager, Laurence Sisi confirms that Vanuatu is ready for the competition.
“We say thank you and bye bye to Wellington today as we ready to travel eleven hours to Auckland from Wellington.” Said Laurence Sisi, Vanuatu team manager.
“Our players are fit and ready to the competition.”
“We really thank Ole soccer academy for their great support and we to play well in the competition.” He said.
Vanuatu national U 20 team will arrive in Vanuatu early morning tomorrow 31 August 2016 at 1pm.
Vanuatu first match in the competition is against neighbor Fiji at 3pm this Saturday 3rd September 2016 at Port Vila stadium.
In the other news, Tahiti, Solomon Islands, Papua New Guina, New Zealand and Cook Islands are already in Vanuatu.
Fiji and New Caledonia will arrive on Wednesday 31 August 2016.
